John Goetze, Owner, MS, PT, CFCE
John founded JGPT in 1998 and has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 1988. He received his Master’s degree in PT from Columbia University in NY. He is trained as a functional manual therapist through the Institute of Physical Art, Inc. Functional manual therapy is a highly skilled methodology utilizing a hands-on approach to diagnose and treat soft tissues and joint structures, restoring joint function and re-educating muscle and other tissues to return to normal function. With John’s skilled hands-on approach of treating the cause of an injury alongside managing symptoms, our patients experience true effective healing as well as the prevention of reoccurring injuries.
Noah Kreitz
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Noah Kreitz is a Double Gator, graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences (2018) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2021). He is originally from South Florida, but met his wife Madison in college and moved to Jacksonville in 2022. When not in the clinic, he enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, fishing, and playing guitar with his church. He specializes in fall prevention, injury evaluation and management, and surgical recovery. With a history as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist along with his experience as a therapist, he has a passion for connecting with his patients and assisting them in achieving their highest level of ability.
Thomas Simpson

Tom Simpson graduated from the University of Saint Augustine in Florida with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. He has a Masters in Athletic Training from Plymouth State in New Hampshire (2016) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from Salisbury University in Maryland (2014). He is originally from Maryland and grew up on a farm. He moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida 3 years ago with his wife Taylor and golden retriever named Hank. Tom has a focus in orthopedic injury assessment, post-surgical rehabilitation, and balance training/vertigo management. He enjoys surfing and traveling with friends and family.
Victoria Pittman
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Victoria Pittman graduated from the University of North Florida Physical Therapy program in 2019 and joined the Macclenny JGPT family in 2023. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2016. A Macclenny native since 2003, she is excited to give back to the community by restoring strength, decreasing pain, and improving function in her hometown. Her favorite part of her job is seeing her patients restored to more abundant life and returning to greater participation in the activities they love with decreased pain. She seeks to employ compassion and creativity in her care plans, providing each patient with a personalized road to recovery. “Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” Hebrews 12:12
Jesse Sweatt
Jesse Sweatt is a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensed since 2014. Jesse has spent his life enjoying the outdoors and believes that staying active allows us to live healthier, more fulfilled lives. He enjoys using his career, knowledge of therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy techniques to help his patients optimize their strength and mobility for their greatest quality of life. His hobbies include kayaking, SUP boarding, and vacationing with his 2 children and wife Sue.
